Signatures Submitted for Dubya's
SF Sewage Treatment Plant

The city of San Francisco took one more step towards asking the voters to approve naming a poop-and-pee processing plant for our Worst. President. Ever.

The Presidential Memorial Commission shares some good news today:
On July 7th, we submitted 11,999 signatures to the San Francisco Department of Elections. Of these, 11,025 we from San Francisco addresses. The Department of Elections will let us know within 30 days if at least 7,168 of these signatures are valid. If so, you’ll be able to vote on this measure on the November 4th ballot. Thanks again to all of our supporters and volunteers!
One of those signatures is mine and it is valid. Happy to do my part to get this initiative on the city ballot in November.

In other Bush-related news, Kathryn Jean Lopez over at the National Review ponders what he should do after the leaving the messes he created over eight long years in the Oval Office:
A totally crazy Saturday-morning thought: Wouldn't George W. Bush make an awesome high-school government teacher? Wouldn't it be something if his post-presidential life would up being that kind of post-service service? How's that for a model? Who needs Harvard visiting chairs and high-end lectures? How about Crawford High?
Well, sure, if he's not on trial for war crimes, Dubya might make a great high school instructor. But I think before he takes up teaching, he should consider being the manager of a sewage plant.

As of today, Bush has only 195 days left in office.
